40 tracks on four discs, $9.99 on Steam

The Over the Hill soundtrack is a 40-track original score by Tatreal (Slava Korystov) and Giacomo Giunchedi. It is spread over four discs, which Funselektor describes as four albums with their own sounds: folk, shoegaze, ambient electronica and spiritual ambient. The track lengths listed on Steam add up to just over three hours.

It is not included with the game. The soundtrack is separate DLC on Steam for $9.99 USD, due on October 14, 2026 alongside the game, and it is also part of the $37.99 bundle. Pre-orders for a vinyl record with a selection of tracks open the same day.

What is on the soundtrack

Steam’s listing describes 40 original tracks across four albums, each with a distinct sound: folk, shoegaze, ambient electronica and spiritual ambient. It mentions acoustic guitars, dreamy reverb-drenched textures and electronic soundscapes, made by combining acoustic instruments with analog synths.

The listing does not name the four albums or say which style belongs to which disc, so the track list below keeps Steam’s disc numbers. The running time after each disc is added up from the listed track lengths.

  • Disc 1 (53:23): Origin, Cold Light, Aether, Monolith, Bloom, Moonbeam, Hidden Truth, Stillness, Aura, After
  • Disc 2 (49:27): Forgiveness, Between the Years, Fragments, The Weight of Quiet, Waiting for Sunshine, A Map With No Names, Elsewhere, Inheritance, Last Light, The Clearing
  • Disc 3 (45:27): Coincidences, Dragonflies, Dreaming in Watercolor, Kerosene Lamp, Rise, Summer Storm, Among The Orchids, Warm Breeze, Before You Leave, Northern Belle
  • Disc 4 (39:47): Playing Fetch, Little Stones, Here Again, Claire, This Too Shall Pass, Pearl Snaps, Sunrise Chocolate, Resplendent, Cozy Sweater, Sparrows

Who wrote and produced the music

Steam’s listing says the soundtrack was composed and produced by Tatreal (Slava Korystov) and Giacomo Giunchedi from their studios in Canada and Italy, and describes both as multi-instrumentalists and electronic producers. The credits on the same page list the composers as Vyacheslav Anatolevich Koristov and Giacomo Giunchedi.

The score was finished well before launch: Funselektor’s August 2026 progress update called it complete. The team also has an audio director, Michele, who was announced as the guest of the September 30 developer stream to talk about the game’s music and sound design.

Buying the digital soundtrack on Steam

The soundtrack has its own Steam page, listed as additional content that does not include the base game. Funselektor set the price at $9.99 USD in its August 24, 2026 price post, and the page shows the same October 14, 2026 release date as the game. Steam lists 500 MB of storage for it, plus 3 GB more for the high-quality audio.

  1. Open the over the hill Soundtrack page on Steam and add it to your wishlist.
  2. On October 14, 2026, buy it on its own for $9.99 USD, or with the game and the Supporter Pack in the $37.99 bundle.
  3. Download it from your Steam library after the purchase.

The vinyl record

On October 7, 2026 Funselektor announced a vinyl record featuring a special selection of tracks from the official soundtrack, with pre-orders opening on October 14. The post gives no price, track choice or shipping date.

It arrived together with the official T-shirt made with Serenity Forge, which is already on pre-order in the Serenity Forge store for $34.99. The post does not say where the vinyl will be sold.

Music inside the game

How the soundtrack plays during a drive has not been described officially. Funselektor’s August 2026 update showed a cassette player among the smaller touches added to the game, and PCGamingWiki, a community wiki, recorded a separate music volume slider in the June 2026 demo. Whether you can choose albums or tracks in the full game is something to check after launch.
